The Royal College has released the highly-anticipated Draft CanMEDS 2015 Framework – Series II, which includes the first release of the draft milestone guidelines. Built on feedback from the 2013 national consultation process, the collaborative work of 13 Expert Working Groups (EWGs), the CanMEDS 2015 Integration Committee and the CanMEDS 2015 National Advisory Committee, this draft is a crucial step towards aligning the existing Framework with a competency-based approach to medical education.
