The Royal College will be hosting its first Trauma Resuscitation in Kids (TRIK) course on May 4-5, 2014, at the B.C. Children’s Hospital (BCCH) in Vancouver, B.C. This course provides an interactive approach to managing common and rare pediatric trauma cases.

The Royal College has released CanMEDS 2015 – Series I , marking a significant milestone in the CanMEDS 2015 project. Built on feedback from the 2013 national consultation process, the collaborative work of 13 Expert Working Groups (EWGs), the CanMEDS 2015 Integration Committee and the CanMEDS 2015 National Advisory Committee, this draft is a crucial step towards aligning the existing Framework with a competency-based approach to medical education.
