K. Anders Ericsson, PhD
Dr. Ericsson is the Conradi Eminent Scholar and Professor of Psychology at Florida State University, as well as one of the world's leading theoretical and experimental researchers on expertise. An international lecturer and co-editor of The Cambridge Handbook of Expertise and Expert Performance, his current research concerns the structure and acquisition of expert performance. In particular, Dr. Ericsson is examining how expert performers such as physicians acquire and maintain their superior performance by extended deliberate practice.

Denis Bédard, Phd
Denis Bédard completed a PhD in Educational Psychology at McGill University in 1993. He is currently a full professor at the University of Sherbrooke's Faculty of Education. He is the Director of the Centre d’études et de développement pour l’innovation technopédagogique (CEDIT) and is in charge of the Microprogramme en pédagogie de l'enseignement supérieur (MPES).

Andrée Boucher, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Boucher is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at Université de Montréal where she serves as Vice-Dean of Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development. An endocrinologist specializing in thyroid cancer and a clinical researcher, she is the current Medical Director of the Thyroid Cancer Unit, at the Université de Montréal Health Centre (university hospital).

Carol Carraccio, MD
Dr. Carraccio is the director of Competency-based Assessment Programs at the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). She has enjoyed many national leadership roles including President of the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, and is currently leading the Milestone Project in Pediatrics, a joint initiative of the ACGME and ABP.

Dr. Frank is an associate director with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the director of education in the University of Ottawa’s department of Emergency Medicine. Chair of ICRE 2012, he is also an Associate Member of the Department of Graduate Studies, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

Jacalyn Duffin, MD, FRCPC, PhD
Dr. Duffin is Professor in the Hannah Chair of the History of Medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston where she has taught in medicine, philosophy, history, and law for more than twenty years. A practicing hematologist, international speaker and author of seven books, she has served as President of both the American Association for the History of Medicine and the Canadian Society for the History of Medicine.
