Phased Implementation of Competence by Design (CBD) – Proposed Rollout Schedule (2014 – 2022)

Phased Implementation of Competence by Design (CBD) –
Proposed Rollout Schedule (2014 – 2022)

All disciplines have been grouped into a cohort for Competence by Design (CBD) implementation.

“One of the most important things we need from the Royal College is time and patience. There are going to be things we’ll try which won’t work. I think it’s important to find those things out now, so we don’t make the same mistakes when CBD is rolled out lock, stock and barrel to all the specialties. We need the time to tweak and correct our course.”

— Brian D. Westerberg, MD, FRCSC; past chair of the Royal College Specialty Committee in Otolaryngology — Head and Neck Surgery; PHC clinical professor, Department of Surgery, University of British Columbia
