If you miss a deadline

If you miss a registration deadline and are still eligible for the exam, you will have to wait until the following year. We will email you a registration notice, but it is your responsibility to adhere to the deadlines. If your eligibility has expired, you must apply to renew your eligibility via the Credentials Unit.

The deadline to apply for renewal of eligibility for the spring specialty exams is July 20 of the year before you wish to take the exam. The deadline to apply for renewal of eligibility for the fall subspecialty exams is November 30 of the year before you wish to take the exam.
