The Royal College conducts and supports research to produce the data we need to influence health system policy and to support our medical-workforce-related initiatives. The Royal College’s Analytical bulletins provide in-depth analysis of issues related to specialty medical workforce. This analysis is based on data gathered by the Royal College and on other sources of physician data such as the Canadian Institute for Health Information.
The National Palliative Medicine Survey and report, is a collaboration with a number of key organizations. It provides an initial look into the training and delivery of palliative care in Canada.
Indigenous Peoples suffer the worst health status in Canada. The Royal College is focusing efforts to help improve the health of this population as part of its strategic plan.
