In today’s economy, we know that spending time and money to attend the Simulation Summit and its associated events is a professional development opportunity that sometimes needs to be justified. We recommend that you follow the steps below to demonstrate to your program director or management the positive return on investment (ROI) for your institution, clinic or organization that will result from attending the 2019 Simulation Summit.
Explore the 2019 Simulation Summit program and determine which educational sessions you plan to attend. Choose those that will most benefit your professional practice, your research, your colleagues/residents and your institution. As a participant at the 2019 Simulation Summit, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues on knowledge translation as it relates to simulation in healthcare; examine new technologies in medical simulation; investigate advances in medical simulation and much more.
Complete a Request Letter and submit to your program director or management. This letter, developed specifically for you, is meant to help facilitate the approval process and create a business case for attending the 2019 Simulation Summit. You may also use our Cost/Benefit Worksheet to help develop a cost estimate.

Payment for the full amount of the registration fee must be made prior to the conference. An electronic confirmation will be sent to confirm receipt of payment.
Payment for the full amount of the registration fee and receipt of the letter from your program director or supervisor to confirm your registrant category are required to complete the registration.
Requests for cancellations or substitutions must be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat at email@example.com by October 21, 2019.
Cancellation requests received in writing by October 21, 2019, are eligible for a refund of 75 per cent of the paid registration fee. There will be no refunds after this date, though substitution within the same category is permitted. Refunds will be processed after the conference.

Payments by credit card will show billing from "Royal College". Electronic funds transfers are not accepted as payment for the conference. If paying by cheque please make payments payable to “Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada” or "RCPSC" and forward to:
