CPD activity toolkit

Resources for developing or reviewing an activity

Are you planning to develop a continuing professional development (CPD) activity for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program credit? Or are you an accredited CPD provider being asked to review a CPD activity for accreditation?

In order for an activity to be eligible for accreditation, it must be developed by a physician organization and approved by a Royal College accredited CPD provider.

Activities with international participants

Will your activity be available to international participants? In support of global learning, the Royal College has several recognition agreements covering continuing professional development and Maintenance of Certification Program credits. Learn how to help your international participants claim credits for your activity.

What is a “physician organization”?

The Royal College created the CPD activity toolkit to help accredited CPD providers review activities; and to help developers of educational activities who want to create quality programs.

Each topic in the toolkit includes explanations, practical examples and other resources.
