Become a Subspecialist Affiliate

If you have successfully completed a Royal College subspecialty examination through the Subspecialist Examination Affiliate Program (SEAP), you can become a Royal College Subspecialist Affiliate.

Subspecialist Affiliate status

Subspecialist Affiliate status provides a mechanism for maintaining engagement with the Royal College and participating in the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program, but it does not confer Royal College membership or fellowship status. The Subspecialist Affiliate status is highly regarded by your patients and peers as evidence of your commitment to maintaining your competence and enhancing your performance through lifelong learning.

Becoming a Subspecialist Affiliate

Successful SEAP exam candidates will receive an invitation to become a Subspecialist Affiliate. This process involves completing a consent form and an agreement to pay dues.

Once you are signed up, you will enjoy many Royal College benefits, such as timely Royal College information, access to Royal College resources including registration in the MOC Program for Health Care Professionals, and a listing as a Subspecialist Affiliate in the Royal College’s public directory.
