Digital microscopy section
-
This section consists of approximately 30 questions and candidates will use a second computer provided to them to view slide groupings with Aperio Imagescope software. Each grouping will include up to 6 digitized slides to be viewed. You will be allotted 30 minutes to review and respond to each slide grouping.
- A technician will provide candidates with subsequent slide groupings at the end of each period.
- Candidates will not be able to view the previous slide groupings once the time for that grouping has elapsed. This process replicates the on-site experience used to administer practical examinations in previous years as candidates rotated between stations.
- Candidates will use a primary computer to answer exam questions.
Technicians will be on site if there are any computer issues during any sections of the examinations.

- At the end of the 60 minutes, there will be a 10-minute break.
- After the break, you will begin the 5-station exam with the examiners. The stations are 10 minutes each.
Technicians will be on site if there are any computer issues during any sections of the examinations.
