Royal College History & Heritage Committee seeks Resident member

Attention Residents – do you have an interest in and passion for the History of Medicine? If yes, the Royal College’s History and Heritage Advisory Committee may have a role for you!

The History and Heritage Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Fellowship Affairs Committee (FAC) regarding the preservation and promotion the Royal College’s history, and the history of specialty medicine. The Committee is seeking a resident representative for a two-year term (renewable, depending on continuing status as a resident). The committee welcomes and encourages applications representative of the diverse populations of Canada.

The committee meets twice per year, typically in Ottawa. Travel and accommodation expenses are covered within Royal College travel guidelines. The Committee member must be a Resident Affiliate of the Royal College (you can join for free, if you are not already an Affiliate). The next committee meeting is scheduled for April 3, 2018 in Ottawa.
