Royal College International: The Royal College provides customized international educational products and services to improve medical education around the globe. Programs are delivered by faculty who are experts in their fields.
International Conference on Residency Education (ICRE): The Royal College hosts ICRE, the world’s largest conference devoted exclusively to advancing residency education. Each year, ICRE brings together more than 1,800 clinical educators and physicians from around the world to share ideas, challenges, innovations, and advance training.
International Competency-based Medical Education (ICBME) Collaborators: The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada provides secretariat support to the ICBME collaborators, leading international experts who examine conceptual issues and current debates in competency-based medical education (CBME) and are key promoters of CBME scholarship.
International Clinician Educators (ICE) Blog: The ICE blog promotes discussion among Clinician Educators from around the world, archiving a variety of education resources. Secretariat support is provided by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Key Literature In Medical Education (KeyLIME) Podcasts: With listeners from over 25 countries, KeyLIME is a bi-weekly podcast produced by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Articles that are important, innovative, or will impact your educational practice are discussed.
CBME Program Evaluation Forum: This international forum holds events for those engaged in CBME program evaluation initiatives to learn and share results, methods, and processes, as well as to create a dialogue on program evaluation and encourage collaboration. CBME Program Evaluation Summit The CBD Program Evaluation operations team also hosts an annual CBME Program Evaluation Summit, in conjunction with ICRE. Its goals are similar to the Forum, and allows for a deeper dive into current CBME program evaluation topics and networking with others involved in CBME program evaluation.
