Surgical Foundations Examination Dates

Examination dates are subject to change without notice. Confirmation will be provided in your appointment letter, approximately one month before the examination.

Note: Please read the information in the language you intend to take the examination as the sites and dates for the English and French examinations may differ.

Registration

Residents who intend to register for the examination must have:

• applied for assessment of credentials/training
• received an official ruling letter from the Royal College confirming their eligibility for the examination.

Registration forms for the examination are sent, on request, only to those who have been ruled eligible for the examination in their specialty or subspecialty.

Residents who have applied for assessment of credentials/training and who are ruled eligible for the next examination session will receive information about the examination in their official ruling letter.
