On National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Chris Watling, Royal College CEO, recognizes the importance of remembrance and learning, and emphasizes the urgent need for reconciliation in the face of persistent health inequities that threaten the well-being of Indigenous peoples in Canada.
Canada is not training enough doctors to meet demand. But many internationally trained specialists already providing care remain excluded from formal affiliation with the Royal College.
